Description
We learn about the impact of the Citizenship Act of 1947 and explore what it means to become a Canadian citizen. We define citizenship and compare the term with related terminology (refugee, immigrant). We hear stories of iconic Canadians who share their journey to citizenship and learn about the many reasons and paths to becoming a Canadian citizen in the past, and up until today.
